Inspired by the gripping era of the Cold War in Costa Rica, this piece spotlights Big Boss and the formidable mech, Peace Walker. My intent was to encapsulate the tension of the late '70s—a time rife with the threat of upheaval, captured here in the standoff between man and machine.
